To do list deluxe

This is really simple and really helpful – at least for me. A structured to-do list that looks like this:
to do list deluxe
Try it out and you’ll see that it is a very easy way of being much more organized that with your standard to do list.

You think you don’t need the “not important, not urgent” square? But that’s where a lot of the fun stuff ends up. And by having your “to dos” organized like this you know that they are the cherry-on-the-top-stuff that you shouldn’t spend the majority of your time with. For example writing this post has been in the “not important, not urgent” box for quite some time. But maybe it’s still useful.

  1. I second you: I’ve been using this for long and it’s extremely helpful.

  2. Paolo,
Do you by any chance know who “invented” this?

I’ve been using this to do list for a couple of years, and guess what? I only ever manage to do things in the urgent/important box. The other three boxes have remained untouched and undone!! Unless I transfer them into the top left hand box of course!

Hope all is well with you.

    • Dear Harriet,
That means you are so much more focused on what is important and urgent than I am… I seem to love doing stuff that is neither important nor urgent 🙂

And, yes, you are right, one important issue is that the list “holds” those issues that are not burning yet, so that you don’t forget them, until it’s there time to move into the important and urgent box…
